About the Role
This six-month contract position is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to the administrative functions of a leading constitutional body. The successful candidate will be at the heart of the provincial office’s operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning.
Key Responsibilities
As an Admin Intern, your duties will be diverse and crucial to the office’s success. You will:
- Manage telephone calls and provide professional receptionist services.
- Assist with the procurement of goods and services for the office.
- Perform general administrative duties, including typing, filing, and taking minutes.
- Maintain office organization, including cleaning duties and stock-taking.
- Support all units within the provincial office with filing and document management.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and communications.
- Facilitate car requisitions and manage boardroom bookings.
Who Should Apply?
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Degree in Administration or a Secretarial field.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically in MS Word, Excel, and email.
- Knowledge of SAP systems is an advantage.
- A solid understanding of general administration principles.
