Who Should Apply?

This internship is ideal for unemployed graduates who have completed one of the following qualifications and have not participated in any prior internship programme:

  • LLB Degree
  • BCom Law
  • Performance Planning & Monitoring
  • Financial Management
  • Public & Business Management
  • Compliance & Risk Management (RM)
  • Internal Audit (IA)

Application Process

Applications must be submitted electronically. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Download the new Z83 Form (effective from 01 January 2021) from the DPSA website or collect it from the National Department of Human Settlements, Govan Mbeki House, 260 Justice Mohammed Street.
  2. Ensure the correct reference number (DOHS/10/2025) is clearly stated on your Z83 form.
  3. Prepare your comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  4. Email your completed Z83 form and CV to: [email protected]

Important Notes for Applicants

  • You must be a South African citizen.
  • Submit a separate application for each position you apply for within the Department.
  • It is your responsibility to have any foreign qualifications evaluated by SAQA.
  • Failure to submit the Z83 and CV will result in your application not being considered.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be subject to security clearance, qualification verification, and criminal record checks.
  • Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. If you haven’t been contacted within four months after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
