Who Should Apply?

This programme is targeted at unemployed South African youth who have completed their qualifications and have not yet been exposed to work experience related to their field of study.

Requirements:

  • You must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • You must have a completed qualification at NQF Level 7 (Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma) in one of the following fields:
    • Public Management
    • Public Administration
    • Human Resource Management (HRM)
  • You must be able to provide an affidavit confirming you have not participated in a similar government internship/incubation programme before.
  • You must be a South African citizen. Non-RSA citizens must possess a permanent resident permit and have their qualifications evaluated by SAQA (if shortlisted).

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted using the new Z83 application form, which can be downloaded from any Public Service Department or at www.gov.za/documents. Applications using the old Z83 form will not be considered.

Your application must include:

  1. A fully completed, signed, and initialed new Z83 form.
  2. A detailed and recently updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Important Notes for Applicants

  • The successful candidate will be subjected to a security vetting process, verification of qualifications, and a competency assessment.
