Who Should Apply?

This programme is ideal for you if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are a South African citizen.
  • You are between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • You are unemployed and have not participated in any previous internship programme.
  • You have completed a National Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:
    • Public Administration
    • Management Administration
    • Arts
  • You have successfully completed all theoretical studies and require experiential training to obtain your qualification.
  • Note: This post is earmarked for persons with disabilities. The DWS’s Employment Equity Plan encourages applications from candidates with disabilities.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted carefully to be considered. Follow these steps:

  1. Download the new Z83 application form from the DWS website (under Career Opportunities) or the DPSA website.
  2. Complete the Z83 form in full. Failure to disclose all required information will lead to disqualification.
  3. Prepare a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  4. Email your application, quoting the reference number 240125/49 in the subject line, to: [email protected]
