Who Should Apply?

This programme is seeking passionate and dedicated graduates who meet the following requirement:

  • A minimum qualification of an NQF Level 6 (National Diploma or equivalent) in Gender Studies or Social Work.

  • A fully completed and signed NEW Z83 form (download from www.dpsa.gov.za). Note: Applications using the old Z83 will not be considered.
  • A recent, comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Contact details for three (3) contactable referees.
  • Do not submit certified copies of qualifications, ID, or other documents with your initial application. These will only be required from shortlisted candidates.

Important Notes for Applicants

  • Non-South African citizens must submit proof of permanent residence in South Africa if shortlisted.
  • Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).
  • The department will conduct personnel suitability checks, including criminal records, citizenship, and qualification verification.
  • Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates. If you have not been contacted within three (3) months of the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
