Who Should Apply?

This programme is designed for ambitious South African graduates who meet the following criteria:

  • Are between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • Hold a National Diploma or Degree in Information Communication Technologies or a relevant qualification from a recognised South African university.
  • Have completed all theoretical studies and require experiential training to obtain their full qualification.
  • Have not previously participated in any government internship programme.
  • The Department actively encourages applications from persons with disabilities, in line with its Employment Equity Plan.

  1. Download the new Z83 application form from the Department of Water and Sanitation website or the DPSA website.
  2. Complete the Z83 form in full. Failure to disclose all required information will lead to disqualification.
  3. Attach a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  4. Do not submit certified copies of qualifications, ID, or other documents with your application. These will only be required from shortlisted candidates later.
