Who Should Apply? Minimum Requirements

Ideal candidates must hold or be in the process of completing one of the following qualifications:

  • BSc or BSc (Hons) in Food Science (or an equivalent qualification)
  • National Diploma or BTech in Food Technology (or an equivalent qualification)

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be exposed to the core functions of a QC lab, including:

  • Conducting accurate and timely product analyses according to strict laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Testing and assessing the quality of raw materials upon delivery.
  • Analyzing daily control samples within specified experimental tolerances.
  • Recording, interpreting laboratory results, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Collecting samples from various production units according to a set schedule.
  • Adhering to daily route planning and providing assistance across lab functions.
  • Vigilantly enforcing all lab safety procedures and identifying any unsafe practices.
  • Recommending and supporting remedial actions to mitigate potential safety risks.
