Who Should Apply?

How to Apply

  1. Download and complete the new Z83 application form (available from any Public Service Department or at www.gov.za/documents). Applications on the old Z83 form will not be considered.
  2. Ensure Sections A, B, C, and D of the Z83 form are fully completed, signed, and initialed.
  3. Prepare a detailed and recently updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).

Important Notes for Applicants

  • Do NOT submit copies of your qualifications, ID, or other documents with your initial application. Only the signed Z83 form and your CV are required.
  • If you are shortlisted, you will be required to submit certified copies of your qualifications, ID, and an affidavit confirming you have not been part of a similar programme before.
  • Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by SAQA (submit the evaluation certificate only if shortlisted).
  • The appointment is subject to a stringent security vetting process, including criminal record, citizenship, credit record, and qualification verification.
