KwaZulu-Natal: Corporate Services Internship Programme 2025

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is inviting applications for its 24-month Corporate Services Internship/In-Service Training programme for the 2025/2027 cycle. This is a fantastic opportunity for unemployed graduates in the KwaZulu-Natal region to gain crucial work experience and kick-start their careers in public service.

Internship Details

  • Stipend: R89,409 per annum
  • Centre: Provincial Office, Corporate Services, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal
  • Contract Duration: 24 Months (2025 – 2027)
  • Closing Date: 24 January 2025

Who Should Apply?

This programme is designed for unemployed South African youth who meet the following criteria:

  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
  • Must have completed an NQF Level 7 qualification (Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma) in Public Management, Public Administration, or Human Resource Management (HRM).
  • Must not have previously participated in any similar internship or in-service training programme.
  • Must be a resident of the KwaZulu-Natal province.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted using the new Z83 application form, which can be downloaded from any Public Service Department or at www.gov.za/documents. Applications using the old Z83 form will not be considered.

Required Documents: A fully completed, signed, and initialed new Z83 form and a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV). Do not submit copies of qualifications, ID, or other documents with the initial application. Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies.

Important Notes

  • Applications received after the closing date or that are incomplete will not be considered.
  • If you have not been contacted within three (3) weeks after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
  • Successful candidates will be subjected to a security vetting process, verification of qualifications, and competency assessments.
