Who Should Apply?
This programme is designed for unemployed South African graduates who meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be an unemployed graduate.
- Must not have been part of any previous internship programme.
- Must hold a qualification in one of the following fields:
- Human Resource Management
- Human Resource Development
- Public Management
Important Application Notes
Please read the following requirements carefully to ensure your application is considered:
- Application Form: A new Z83 form (effective from 01 January 2021) must be used. It can be downloaded from the DPSA website or collected from the National Department of Human Settlements, Govan Mbeki House, 260 Justice Mohammed Street.
- Submission: Applications must be forwarded electronically to [email protected]. Ensure the reference number DOHS/03/2025 appears on your Z83 form.
- Documents: Submit the completed Z83 form accompanied by your comprehensive CV only.
- Foreign Qualifications: It is the applicant’s responsibility to have any foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
- Further Checks: Shortlisted candidates will undergo security clearance, qualification verification, and criminal record checks. Appointment is contingent on positive outcomes.
Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will be required to be available for interviews on a date and at a venue determined by the Department. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. If you have not been contacted within four months after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
