What You Will Do: Duties and Responsibilities

As an intern, you will be immersed in the core functions of academic administration, providing essential support to ensure smooth operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with customer service and general administrative functions.
  • Handling critical student records administration.
  • Providing support with various ad hoc administrative duties as required.

This role is perfect for building a strong foundation in administrative processes within a higher education environment.

Are You Eligible? Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Degree in Public Administration or a closely related field (NQF Level 7).
  • Must be an unemployed graduate.
  • Must be between the ages of 18–35 years.
  • Must be available for the full 24-month duration of the internship.
  • Have no prior full-time work experience in the field of study.

The Skills We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:

  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Email).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong ability to work effectively within a team.
  • An eagerness to learn and a demonstrated ability to show initiative.
