About the Programme
This structured skills development programme is a direct response to youth unemployment. You can receive training in one of the following high-demand fields:
- Bricklaying
- Plastering
- Plumbing
- Painting
- Tiling

- Health and Safety in Construction
- Civil and Building Construction (NQF Level 3)
Who Should Apply? Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be an unemployed South African youth aged between 18 and 35.
- Reside in the Western Cape province.
- Have a minimum of a Grade 10 qualification (some trades may require Matric).
- Not be enrolled in any other education or training programme.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in the construction and infrastructure sector.
Preference will be given to historically disadvantaged individuals, women pursuing non-traditional construction roles, and persons with disabilities.
