About the Programme

This structured skills development programme is a direct response to youth unemployment. Who Should Apply? Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be an unemployed South African youth aged between 18 and 35.
  • Reside in the Western Cape province.
  • Have a minimum of a Grade 10 qualification (some trades may require Matric).
  • Not be enrolled in any other education or training programme.
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the construction and infrastructure sector.

Preference will be given to historically disadvantaged individuals, women pursuing non-traditional construction roles, and persons with disabilities.
